This is Syndicate 318's largest account and is made up of medium-to-large commercial, industrial and leisure property risks. The majority of the account is written on a traditional open market subscription basis.

The Syndicate writes a global book, although the United States is historically the single largest source of business. The overall composition and geographical split of the account varies from year-to-year in response to local market conditions, often driven by regional loss activity.

The Syndicate also underwrites a delegated underwriting book comprising small commercial and residential property business emanating from various territories and regions. This business is sourced via local coverholders and is complementary to the open market Lloyd's account.
